1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Spokn. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and 3M DIGITAL LTD (Company Registration Number: 11681453) ("we," "us," "our," or "Spokn") governing your access to and use of the Spokn mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using Spokn, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Private Beta Notice: Spokn is currently in Private Beta testing. During this phase, features, functionality, and these Terms may change. We may make breaking changes to features you rely on as we develop and refine the Service. We will provide notice of material changes where required by applicable law.

3.2 Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to maintain its accuracy.

3.3 Geographic Availability

Spokn is available globally. Pro Mode pricing may be displayed in different currencies based on your location and billing details as determined by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

4. Account Registration and Security

4.1 Account Creation

You may create an account using:

Email address with magic link authentication
Apple Sign-In on supported devices
Google Sign-In

4.2 Multiple Accounts

You may create multiple accounts using different email addresses. However, each account is subject to these Terms independently.

4.3 Account Security

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@spokn.co

4.4 Prohibited Account Sharing

You may not:

Share your account credentials with others
Allow others to access your account
Transfer or sell your account to another person

5. Free Access and Pro Mode

5.1 Free Access

One Beginner lesson in each Weekly Drop is available free. Free learners receive three credits to unlock other Weekly Drop lessons, including Advanced; the number of available credits is shown in the app. Practice is unlimited. Available weeks and lessons may change over time.

5.2 Pro Mode

Weekly Pro is a monthly subscription, currently approximately $4.99 USD per month or the equivalent displayed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. It unlocks every lesson in each Weekly Drop while your subscription is active.

Accounts that previously purchased lifetime Pro remain grandfathered and do not need a subscription for Weekly Pro access.

5.3 Billing and Payment

Pro Mode purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account after you confirm the purchase
The subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled through your store account
Restore Purchases may be used to restore an eligible purchase associated with your store account

5.4 Price Changes

We may change the price offered to future subscribers, subject to store rules and any notice or consent they require. Existing lifetime purchases remain grandfathered.

5.5 Voluntary Upgrade

Upgrading to Pro Mode is voluntary and requires affirmative confirmation through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Using the Free plan does not automatically create a charge.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

6.1 Refund Policy

All Pro Mode purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We defer entirely to Apple and Google's refund policies.

To request a refund:

Apple users: Contact Apple Support or request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com
Google users: Contact Google Play Support or request a refund through play.google.com

We do not have the ability to process refunds directly.

6.2 Cancelling Renewal

You can cancel Weekly Pro renewal through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. Deleting your Spokn account does not itself cancel a store subscription or create a right to a refund.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

7.1 Ownership of Content
